Mountain-city lanes

Make time for mountain-city lanes with a route that suits your interests and pace. Combine the well-known sights with the local context that makes Chongqing distinctive.

Set above the meeting of great rivers, Chongqing builds its streets, bridges and neighbourhoods across dramatic hills. Explore on foot with a local perspective, take in the waterfront after dark and discover a food culture with unmistakable character. It is an absorbing beginning or end to a Yangtze journey.

The right timing, a considered pace and local context help you get more from the visit. Specific arrangements, admissions and access requirements should be confirmed in your final itinerary.
